VoiceBoard (“the App”) provides real-time speech-to-text transcription through a custom keyboard. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly.

Information We Collect

• The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, typed text, or account credentials.
• When you use the transcription feature, audio from your microphone is streamed to our backend service (hosted on our Rails server) solely for transcription. The backend forwards this audio to Fireworks AI, our transcription provider.
• Neither the App nor our servers retain audio recordings or transcription results after the session ends.

How We Use Information

• Audio is processed only to deliver live transcription results during your active session.
• Once the transcription is returned, no audio or text is stored on our servers or the device beyond what is required to display the transcription in real time.

Third-Party Services

Fireworks AI processes the audio data strictly to provide transcription. Their handling of audio is governed by their own privacy practices; please review Fireworks AI’s privacy policy for details.

Children’s Privacy

VoiceBoard is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use secure, encrypted connections for all transmissions between the App, our backend, and Fireworks AI. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
